What a clever craftsman – making gods to suit his own needs.
I should give it a go!
Someone once said in effect, if God didn’t exist, we would make Him ourselves. Sounds like these people took that to heart! I love how something as simple as a typo can trigger a clever story like this.
Now I have to wonder, what happens if the maker forgets the name (s)he gave the god?
I suppose it would be like forgetting a password, you’d get nothing out of the god!
Ah, great premise and fantastic twist at the end. 😀
Thanks!
What a great read!
Thanks!
lares and penates, nice
Thanks!
The power of names…not to be lightly given away. And the idea of creating your own gods…there’s truth there beneath it all.
Great twist in this one, Icy. Nicely done.
Thanks!
Such a dark (but totally smart) twist at the end, but lovely anyhow.
Thank you!
This is brilliant from concept to conclusion. Nice work.
Thanks! I may do something more with this idea in future.
Very cool kind of magic and love the twist ending!
